Privacy Policy

La Mia Stilista is operated from Norway by Bottino AS (organisation number to be added). The operator of La Mia Stilista is the data controller. This policy describes what the app actually does with your data today. Questions about your data: lamiastilista@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

• Account: email address, password (stored hashed by our hosting provider), a user ID and the time you accepted our terms – to give you an account.
• Profile (optional): name, clothing size, shoe size, height, favourite brands, styles, typical budget and currency – so edits start with your details.
• Your brief: occasion, destination, trip length, budget, sizes, styles, colours, restrictions and notes – to create your edit. A brief is only stored in your account when you save a look.
• Saved looks: the looks and products you choose to save.
• Inspiration photos (optional): shrunk on your device, with location and other metadata removed, sent once to our AI provider for analysis and then discarded. We do not store your photos. The analysis only describes clothing and style – never the person. Please do not upload photos of other people without their consent, or photos of children.
• Access status: your plan (currently "launch access", no subscription). No payment data is collected.
• Technical data: IP address and a device identifier, used to apply usage limits and prevent abuse.

Please do not include health information or other sensitive details in your notes or photos.

Legal basis

• Providing the service you ask for (account, edits, saved looks, photo analysis): contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Security, abuse prevention and usage limits: our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and available (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

AI processing

Your brief and any inspiration photo are processed by AI to suggest looks and products. We only send styling information to the AI – never your name, email or account ID. The AI does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you. The request asks our AI provider not to store your data or use it to train its models. Suggestions may contain errors – see our Terms of Service.

Who processes your data for us

• Our platform provider (Lovable) – hosts the app, our database and login in the EU (Frankfurt), and forwards your brief and any inspiration photo to our AI model provider.
• Our AI model provider (OpenAI, via our platform provider) – generates looks and analyses photos. Requests are sent with data retention switched off.
• Our product search provider (Channel3) – receives search terms derived from your brief. It does not receive your name, email, account ID or IP address from us.

Shop links and affiliate tracking

When you tap "Shop", you are sent through our product search provider's (Channel3) tracking link to the retailer. Channel3 and the retailer may record the click, including your IP address, browser information and which product you clicked, to attribute purchases and pay commissions. They do this under their own privacy policies:

• Channel3: https://trychannel3.com/privacy
• The retailer's own privacy policy applies on their site.

We do not share your name, email or account details with them. We do not sell your personal data.

Where your data is stored

Your account, profile and saved looks are stored in the EU (Frankfurt). Some providers, such as OpenAI and Channel3, may process data in the USA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your browser

We use only what's needed: your login session is kept in your browser's storage, and if you tick "Save my preferred sizes on this device", those sizes are kept there too. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Fonts are served from our own servers – no third-party font services are used. Retailers and our product search provider may set their own cookies after you leave our app via a Shop link.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it or delete your account. Technical data used for usage limits is kept for up to 2 days. Copies may remain in backups for a limited time.

Age

La Mia Stilista is only for users aged 16 or older. If we learn that a user is under 16, we will delete the account and associated data.

Your rights

• Access and portability: Profile → "Download my data" gives you a file of your account, profile, briefs and saved looks.
• Correction: edit your profile any time.
• Erasure: Profile → "Delete my account" permanently removes your login, profile, briefs and saved looks. Copies may remain in backups for a limited time.
• Restriction, objection and other questions: contact us at lamiastilista@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

You can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).

Security

We use encryption, access control and reputable providers to protect your data. If a serious data breach occurs, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

Payments

No payment information is collected. If paid plans are introduced, this policy will be updated first.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect.
